We are a community climbing club based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. Our members are of all abilities and all ages.
About Us
North Coast Climbers became a formal club in December 2018, encompassing members from beginners to experts. The group climbs at the NCIC wall in Coleraine and ventures to the Foyle Arena, Boulderworld, and into the outdoors. They aspire to expand outdoor activities, enhance member training, and participate in broader climbing competitions and trips.
Membership benefits
Our climbing club provides adult members with regular access to the NCIC climbing wall and organises climbing meets in the local area. We support a youth climbing club, an advanced youth climbing team, and opportunities for skill-sharing to help climbers expand their horizons indoors and outdoors.
Additionally, membership includes affiliation with Mountaineering Ireland, ensuring insurance coverage for club activities. We also encourage and support our members embarking on mountain training qualifications, such as the Climbing Wall Instructor and the Rock Climbing Instructor award.
